MIMCOL runs the Seed Investment Scheme, which offers incentives in the form of tax credits to investors who invest in qualifying startups. The scheme offers entrepreneurs a route to vital funding to their venture by effectively minimizing the risk to investors.
To provide maximum benefit to our startups community and our equity investors' network we partner with Malta Investment Management Company Limited (MIMCOL) and Malta Government Investments (MGI).
MGI runs the Malta Venture Capital Scheme. Startups operating in innovative economic sectors, including digital and climate-tech, can access to the fund via matching private capital injection up to €500,000 in the form of equity investment.
Access to Public Funding and Grants
MALTAccelerate team has developed extensive expertise in European funding. Thanks to our close collaboration with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), with the Digital Innovation Hub (DIHUB), and other EU agencies, we have the pulse of all grants that are relevant to your venture. We regularly monitor EU grants calls and guide our startups’ community with selecting the most suitable funding, guide with writing and submitting applications, and develop consortia as and when required.
